Random Idea: Folders?

So this idea popped into my head, hardly 30 seconds ago, so bear with me cause I’m making it up as I type.

Folders. Imagine this. I’ll use Reach for an example. You are a party leader of 16 players. You have this map you want to show your friends that you made in Forge World. But you have so many maps saved to Forge World, that you can’t find it. What if 343 added folders to curtain maps in Halo 4?

I’ll use an analogy. It’s like playing music from your iPod. Let’s say like Linkin Park is Forge World in this analogy. So you click on Linkin Park, but instead of just a huge list of songs (or maps) to choose from, they are organized in albums (or folders), to where you can find them much easier.

Now what if we could add folders to maps? Like we could name then, for example “Infection Maps” and you can add all your maps that are made for Infection in that folder. Or you could name the folder “Big Team Maps” and you could add the big slayer maps in that folder.

Like I said, I’m imagining my idea as I go along, so I apologize if I’m not clear. But if you did understand, what are your thoughts?

This isn’t a new idea, but it’s certainly a great one. I like how you explained it.

I would love this to be in Halo 4. Perhaps folders could include “bundles” for maps that require certain gametypes. So a bundle would include a map and gametype.

Using Linkin Park as an analogy almost ruined it for me, but it is a good idea. I’d love for it to be implemented in.

Sorry, I tried to think of an artist that a lot of people like, haha. But thanks!

Very good idea and not too difficult to implement.
Nice work.

It’s a good idea.

I like how you think! Great idea!

Exactly. And thankyou

I like the idea and it sound like it would be very helpful.

Wonderous idea and I fully agree.

P.s. I bet the Infinity could use some new curtains.

Thanks, I think it would be very helpful. And it wouldn’t be hard to implement before the game went gold.

Lol nice 343 pls implement dis.

I really like this idea, I know helping TSL with shoots is a very long, and boring thing to do, and the sure fact that some times, we have to play musical hosts to figure out who has the map we want to shoot on, who has the right game type for it, and half the time, it’s because the host with all of the maps have tons of forge maps, and can never find the right map.
This idea would make things easier, plus it’d be great if you could set up the server/hopper to use that folder as a make shift playlist, plays through the maps and gametypes in the folder until someone stops/changes it. Kind of like a make shift dedicated server.

I… like it.

That would be helpful.
