I’ve been grinding for 152 for the past month, and have only had to deal with aiming inconsistencies occasionally. Today and yesterday, though, I haven’t been able to hit anything consistently over hours of gameplay. Could there be something server-side causing more heavy aim than normal right now?
Possibly, yes. Are you searching with either Balanced or Focused as your search preference?
My question is: “Why aren’t any of my shots giting?! The retical’s on the dude, so if should work, but NO! Apparently 343 Industries I to lazy to learn what happens when you shoot a gun.”
These last couple of days have been miserable. Aim is just off and shots that should register don’t and vice versa.
I’ve been in a bunch of battles where I don’t land a single shot because the game just won’t cooperate with me. There have been numerous times where I am trying to land a final headshot but I don’t even get close.

Frankly I’ve been searching expanded for a while, lot of trouble finding games otherwise.

It’s been VERY on/off for me. One game, I’ll be hitting perfects left and right, or snapping to someone behind me across the map, then the next 10 games my reticle goes everywhere but my enemies. I have noticed when I get lucky I’ll hit someone in the shoulder and get a headshot as well.
Since I got my series x I haven’t noticed any heavy aim issues. Everything feels like butter.

Just the thought of no heavy aim in 5 makes me smile, I gotta get that series x.

Got the Series X, gotta say, I think my muscle memory was more used to heavy aim than normal aim, so it’s got me kinda messed up but at least it feels consistent.

Heavy aim has always plagued the game, there isn’t any fix sadly, some games your shot will be deadly then other games you can’t hit the side of a farm house.
What is heavy aim?

No, they just refuse to bug fix in Halo 5. There’s an actual laundry list of Forge/ custom game lobby bugs that haven’t been addressed since Monitors Bounty that will never be fixed.
