Anyone else experiencing random disconnects? I’m curios to know if it’s the game or my internet. It only started today and i’m not sure whats causing it.
Does the disconnect send you back to the matching screen for your gamemode? If so I think it is a new glitch because I just started getting it since yesterday and I have no idea why. But it seems like it might be a byproduct from region lock removal maybe (I dunno just speculating, not taking sides).
This started happening to me a few weeks ago, pretty rare, only twice, but it kicks me out of forge. Very infuriating.

Yeah, it either sends me to an empty maching screen or the main menu.

Yea that’s what I’ve been getting too now… seems like its consistently happening for me too as well
Try restarting the console
Ive been experiencing this more and more. Just to make sure it isn’t my ISP they are coming out tomorrow to check everything for me on my end. Normally I wouldn’t go this far as to get them over here but with this Banhammer I have to take this into my own hands and verify its not something on my end. As games get more and more loaded with features I think its almost a must to have a solid connection. I feel the days of an average connection just wont cut it anymore. But for some reason I still feel there is something up with the halo servers or possible a patch they made that worked for some and hurt others. The only reason I say this is because the game did work well at first but as these updates came through things went from nice to plain out ugly!
Probably the servers.
This use to happen to me alot. It made me super pissed off when I used a legendary RP boost and the game just sends me to the main menu without giving me a reason why it did it.
Hard resets are your friend. I reset my Xbox every time before I play… just a habit left over from MCC. Also make sure you use a wired connection and don’t rely on WiFi.
Yeah man Ive lost connection to games prior to a game starting or a few moments into the games. most of the time ittl say the halo servers are down or it will just completely disconnect me from XBL in general. its something I just deal with. Try the hard reset like the dude above me is talking about that sometimes puts a decent amount of time between this problem occurring.

Same here. I have good internet and haven’t had issues with Guardians up until recently. I’ve been getting kicked out of games a bit more frequently. Hope I don’t get the ban hammer.
Yup, I sure have. Like 90% of my Halo 5 clips are of me disconnecting… I like to have proof incase someone calls me out.
