So I’ve been having this issue for a few weeks now. Basically, my internet works fine all day with constant usage (working from home so I mean literally constant). It works fine when I play games online on Xbox or on PC, except in one case. I will randomly lose my internet connection while I’m playing MCC multiplayer matchmaking matches on PC, and only in that scenario have I ever had an issue. I will just lose my entire internet connection every few games or so.
I’m using a hard-wire connection and have pretty decent speed (400MBs) and when I’m not having issues latency is usually in the <50ms range. Once again, this ONLY happens when playing MCC matchmaking on PC.
Has anybody ever had an issue similar to this or know what could possibly be causing this issue?
Happens occasionally, I play on the Xbox and I can experience this out of the blue from time to time. My connection never gets interrupted anywhere else, however while playing matchmaking I can suddenly loose connection without any sign of it to come. In co - op too, game freezes and eventually I get booted from the session.
Then again, in firefight I have never experienced an interruption.
I don’t know… server crash? The best way to make sure is by asking other players in the same session as you if they also disconnected.
I’m also having this issue. Getting DC’ed from specifically only matchmade lobbies almost exactly 5 minutes into them.
I filed a support ticket, but seeing you and other people reporting this issue for a couple years gives me zero faith that 343 will help me.
i also have the same issue and makes it unplayable but it didnt start till they added halo 4 on pc and added the regions for networking i tried everything i wish i could get a refund at this point but i have over 80 hours on steam lmao
Any fixes yet Im playing on PC and every game ive been having so far in the middle of the match I get selecting new host then brought to a loading screen. i asked my friends who are in a match with me if its happening to them and it dosent. Please help
This used to happen a lot to me last year but not anymore for multiplayer. Unfortunately, now I’m trying to get season points but can’t get any challenges that require firefight as halfway through each game I lose connection. This only happens in firefight. Any other multiplayer works perfectly fine for me.
Edit: Nevermind, multiplayer is getting black screened again. I put in a help ticket last year so I don’t feel like doing it again but I hope this gets resolved soon.
Bro I want to play mcc but fix the disconnects daaamn every game I play I’m enjoying and oh host change and disconnect from the game I hope this issue gets fixed soon 
This is an issue for me. Sticks me in the loading screen until the game is over. It’s resulting in me getting temp banned just trying to play the game. I have no connectivity issues on any other pc games.
I suspect it has something to do with players who host out of their web browsers on that new game pass sh*t. I was paying custom firefight with a friend and he left and my session disconnected. When i asked him why he left he said his browser crashed.
ive been having almost the same issue, towards the end of the match it says starting game, the it transitions to finding a new host then i get booted out to a loading screen that doesn’t load anything, then when i reset i get banned, i have perfect internet and my connection says its fine this has happened with every game i play
Ive had the same problem I fixed my issue by port forwarding. Had to use tutorial videos to learn how to do it.
this is happening to me and has been all year, i cant believe 343 has done nothing about it. anybody, please, offer a solution. i am so sick of this
Almost every single game this is happening. either i am in the load screen on the map and right before load in im taken back to the main menu with a ban… finally get into a game and boom about 4 mins in we are changing hosts… again back to the main screen banned for an even longer ban. this is ridiculous almost every single game someone drops from the lobby you cant even play this trash anymore. Some great insight on what to expect from infinite i suppose. Bungie>343

FYI, I never found a solution to this. It only stopped happening after I moved…
