So I am having this issue with my roommates and a friend who lives literally a block away from my house. When a multi-player game in halo 3 social or ranked on pc starts during loading it takes way longer than normal in the map loading screen and it disconnects either my friend who lives near us or my whole house ( me and my 2 other roommates ). I have been scouring the forums for any issues relating to this and I have got nothing so far. Is anyone else having this issue and if so is there a fix?

This sounds like a current known issue that the devs are actively investigating:
- Rarely, a player can be disconnected from matchmaking after loading the map but before the gameplay starts. This also results in a short temporary matchmaking ban.
If this is the issue you are experiencing, please submit a ticket with info including a timestamp for when the issue happened, the game mode, and the map. This will help them investigate the issue further, and I’m sure they will have some guidance on what steps you could try to resolve this issue if you request additional help in the ticket.
