For some reason, my controller settings will occasionally switch from Recon + Legacy to Halo 4 + Legacy. It really throws a guy’s game off when jump, reload, melee, and crouch are all switched around. You just can’t move as well and half your attention goes to moving correctly, not fighting your opponents intelligently. Sometimes going to Controller Settings mid-game and cycling through the options and going back to Recon + Legacy will clear up the issue, but it’s not a lot of fun. Anyone else have this issue? Help!
This happens to me all the time…but it’s not as drastic of a change for me… I too have to go into settings and change back to my preferred settings. It’s been happening to me since late last year. Jump in a game and the settings are all wonky. There has to be a way to stop this on 343i’s side of things.

Glad I’m not the only one. It hasn’t happened in quite a while, so that’s nice. I had a thought though: if the setting are stored on your Xbox and the server responds to those inputs accordingly, wouldn’t the problem be something local to the Xbox? Mayne there’s a patch that can be made in some future update that can rectify it. Grand scheme of things, it’s small potatoes as long as it isn’t frequent. It Iona bit annoying though.
