Random Campaign Gameplay Wishes

Just spitballing some ideas here. These are things I would love to see in Infinite’s campaign or future campaign DLC.

Usable Jackal shields - a mini riotshield-esque defense armament that takes up a weapon slot, or at least is equipment oriented. Ripped straight from those pesky jackals. You’d have to crouch to use them properly.

Assassinations - I’ve no problem with them being out of multiplayer at least for the time being, but I’d like to see them in Campaign at least. Stealth encounters would be a lot more fun with them involved, if they’re not there then no biggie.

Destructible Objects/Environments - Not on a large scale, maybe things like trees and big Boulder rocks that you could use creatively to take down some enemies, kind of like in Breath of The Wild.

Base Camp(s) Customization - It’s confirmed that saving captured marines is going to be a thing in the campaign, and you’re going to be able to bring them back to some mini Base as seen in the campaign overview at E3. It would be cool to adorn the base a little bit, paint it up or whatever.

Love the base camps idea, really good way to get more value out of the dev investment in forge if it could be used in some way to add a personal touch.to single player.

I want blue team and the didact and for the logic plague arc of 4 and 5 to be resolved at launch or at least play a major role in the launch campaign.

As for dlc id like to play as gammas that get faster and stronger as their health decreases.

I’d also love to see swntinels behave like in the books and combine to form larger ones.

Also would love to see water featured. Most covie vehicles could be land and sea vehicles and unsc would have boats. But Spartans would sink beneath disabling sprint and reducing movement speed possibly disabling plasma weapons.
Yonhet could be the new dlc enemies under water.
