I was playing halo 4 after not having it for a while, and I was randomly banned today can I get an actual reason. I did quit a few games because of lag or having to do something.

Well there you go.

I took the liberty of looking through your Halo 4 game history. You did not finish five games in the last 24 hours, three of which were in a row. If I am not mistaken, the banhammer is automated and looks for a combination of irregular patterns and for a percentages of games incomplete to games complete. You probably had quit and/or did not finish that exceeded that percentage and you quit three games in a row, both which can be contributing factors to the activation of the automated banhammer.
As for having to do things, yes responsibility comes before leisure, however if you can in the future, try to play games when you know you will have free time undisturbed. The automated banhammer is automated, and cannot determine whether or not a player ‘has to do something’. As for the choice of quitting because of lag, that was your choice as well. Actions and choices have results and consequences. Not to be rude, this is the result of you choosing to quit a handful of games.
