A few days ago I poped in my old halo3 disc for the first time in a while, I was supprised to see that Recon armor had randomly appeared in my inventory.
Now I know that recon armor is actually quite popular in halo3 now and its not as special as it once was, but I dont know why this happened.
Its no big deal and I probably wont play halo3 again for a long time but it would be nice to know why I suddenly ended up with recon…anyone?

I’m pretty sure Bungie gave Recon out en masse sometime after Halo Reach came out. I think it might have been a Bungie Day thing.

My cousin didn’t get halo 3 or an xbox until a few months after they already did it, so while me and my friends had it, he didn’t. But after he played it for a while, it randomly showed up in his armory. maybe the same will happen to you if you just keep playing?
So I’m confused (not surprising). Does this mean I should have it, even if I didn’t complete all the VidMasters?
yes 343 gave it to everyone when the took over halo

Oh d***n I’m not sure it was in my armory. Ahhhh this will consume my every thought until I get home from work to double-check.
