I think we can all agree that MC will most likely be pointing his gun at Forerunners in the reclaimer trilogy and in my opinion, they will have probably turned themselves into AI in robotic bodies. Now this would mean that they’ve been in their AI selves for about 100,000 years. They would have gone extremly rampant by now and that would set up some really facinating story plots. How would the Covenant react to seeing their gods crazy? Of course, this would cancel out Cortana getting a body because it wouldn’t help with her rapancey. Anyways, what do you think?

And why couldn’t they have just gone into cryo? Or just lived normally, living breeding and dying?
If the forerunners were evil, why would they attempt to save the entire galaxy from the flood, and risk their own civilization.

Lol, you just made up some random possibilities and said “yea, that’s probably what happened”. We don’t even know if Forerunners are on that shield world. I think it would take away from the great mystery of the game if we seen them.
