And what’s with crashing a banshee into a boss, knowing that you aren’t doing any damage while staying there, all you are doing is keeping your team from getting the kill, prolonging things or in some cases, causing a loss in FF

What do you mean targets that don’t take damage?
Are you referring to the War zone bosses?

Hunters, Knights, and Wardens.
Nothing like a bunch of us getting our killing on for the team, just to see a banshee nose dive, firing away with it’s guns pointed uselessly at dirt because height over bore is an actual thing while trying to ram or whatever it is they thing that they are doing, never mind the fact that they are now blocking the rest of the team from their thing. Or us getting it on to beat a round only to have it knocked away by a wraith and the rammer in said wraith now about to be dead because they just attracted the full attention of it’s targets wrath and what could have been a win, now isn’t. It doesn’t make any sense.
I think the Banshee tactic is just a way to confuse the AI so the hope there is that the boss won’t destroy it or it will be delayed. The Banshee bomb does AOE damage so they are hurting the boss, but I agree that it does block other people which can be annoying.
People like to find out the hard way, or they already know and they are being silly.
Hmmm. To start with;
I think you’re seeing people doing it wrong, or fooling around.
A hunter getting rammed at full speed by a hog takes damage. If that hog is left next to it, and explodes, the hunter takes more damage.
The wreckage, or the ditched hog blocks the hunter for bonus pwnage, it can’t move, or fire in a certain direction. It also freezes it, letting people pour on uncontested shots.
You just run the risk of dying. Some people care if they die a lot, others dont.
