I’ve noticed a pretty prominent glitch within the Rally Hog Race gametype on the Action Sack playlist. As you already know, whenever you hop out of your Warthog, you instantly die, right? Well, since your Warthog remains where it was for a good several minutes, I’ve noticed a few people take advantage of this and literally causes a roadblock at the finish line with tens of almost a hundred unmanned Rally Warthogs.
I managed to get a game clip of the first instance that I’ve encountered, and when it happened a second time with another player, I had to call them out on it (as a responsible adult should) only to be belittled by them via Xbox Live messaging and Twitch stream (I think I embarrassed them as they were streaming, which they should be, not going to name names though, lest anyone wants to back me up here).
Anyway, I’m reaching out to the creators of the gametype to see if they can adjust the despawn rate on this gametype, and any others if the same issue is occurring, if at all possible. I really enjoy this game, since it’s a great way to build teamwork and relationships with others, but it breaks my heart to see certain trolls ruin that aspect of it. I hope to hear back from you guys!
This happens all the time. People will use hogs to block the finish line or that small pass through on top of the hill at the 9th gate. Half the time I can just go over or through with little problem but I have lost many races because somebody got through 4-5 gates while I was struggling at the finish line and got a luckier line than I did through the muck. It’s ridiculous when this could be fixed by say having a max of 5 dead vehicles per player on the track. That way teams can still get creative and set up kill zones but keeps the solo untalented player from going 0-60 k/d in a hog race and influencing the outcome. Just dashboard if you hate racing that much…
Actually, I love racing. So far this has only happened to me twice, but I felt that the issue should have been addressed if not already. Seeing others have a good time puts a smile on my face, but it pains me to see people take that away from them, in video games and real life. Not much can be done in video games I know, but at least it’s worth a shot. I appreciate the comment though.

Lol! I am sorry I didn’t mean for YOU to dashboard–more of a complaint against the vehicle spammers!

I figured right after I commented saying “Wait…he meant the vehicle spammers.” You’re cool dude. But yeah. Limiting to five dead vehicles sounds like a good idea, but like you said, teams can work around that.
My buddy and I saw some one else do this once, and being the responsible, mature people we are, we too blocked the road on the next game. The funniest part was seeing the massive wall of Warthogs!

Yeah, the thing is, it doesn’t bode well for my internet connection, or anyone else’s in that matter. I still need an Ethernet cable for the basement, but causing a huge lag crash just ruins it a bit, as fun as it may be.
