I got the Rakshasa armour core and I like it, but am I right in thinking that the only free armour pieces are for the Mk VII armour core? And the only way to get Rakshasa armour pieces through the season pass is by buying the premium pass? I don’t think we get a coating for it.

There are Rakshasa pieces available from the free Interference event going on right now.
Also, they are talking about making coatings and armor cross core at some point.
Most of the free items you’ll get for Rakshasa will most likely come from game events and their free passes over the course of this season.
Although even then, it’ll probably still pale in comparison to the BP or what gets put into the store.
Continue to play the event and you’ll earn more free armor over time. Good luck fellow Spartan!
