What are these? Got mentioned towards the end of the recent article on the new maps but the cores Joe mentioned were Headhunter and Iron Eagle? Are these different names for them?

Eaglestrike I’m certain to it being the new Fracture core. Rakshasa being the headhunter’s core since that’s the first I’ve heard of that name and got revealed later.
Eaglestrike has been rumored and leaked months earlier.
It’d make sense for the fracture and event to have ties with eachother in names so that’s my simple conclusion to it.

The Iron Eagle is the new fracture core, like Tenari was the last fracture core
I think these two new armors will be a Season 2 Core; like Mark V was the Season 1 Core
I suspect Season 2 unlocks will be both for Mark VII and this new Core

Rakshasa is the Lone Wolf core, Eaglestrike is the Fracture core.
For Season 1 is was MK V [B] and Yoroi (everyone forgets the name proper!)
So for this season we’re getting new armor for…
MK VII
MK V [B] (Everything we DIDN’T get that was in Reach, that has been recreated for Infinite, and it is quite a lot!)

Also is the Recon and other Halo 4 helmets for the Mark VII?

What do you mean? MK V [B] and MK VII both have their own Recon variants.
Sorry, I think it’s the Scout helmet. The one Palmer has. Somebody did a leak where there was that and a few tweaked Halo 4 helmets. Wasn’t sure if they were Headhunter core or Mark VII.
Ah, yes. That one’s MK VII. Anything Halo 4-5 era is going to come to MK VII.

There is a Scout helmet for the Mark VII Core which is under another name called Celox which is apparently going to release for Season 2 with a few others
