What is the logic and system used to raise a CSR?

It seems to be that only winning the match raises the CSR, but I’m curious, if you are place in gold 1 and lose a bunch can you get dropped down to silver 5

so you just have to win matches lol. so if you happen to be on a really good time be placed in a higher then your skill level tier your F’ed till they reset or you get better lol
Yes. Winning matches is the only way to do it. I’ll be forever hovering b/w Diamond 1 and Diamond 2 because most of my real life friends are Bronze - Silver and we are not winning matches against high-level players.
Individual player skill doesnt factor in, only W/L. From my experience

I have noticed that when I play (as platinum/diamond) with my friends (silver/gold) it actually finds other teams with the same makeup (some high and some low) so we are able to do ok.
That’s what I thought. I am stuck between silver1 and silver 2 and can not go up any more for some reason. but if you say its only w/L that make sense because I lose with the most kills in a game and see to progress
Indeed the ranking system makes little sense once you hit Onyx or even Plat. 1… IF you wanna rank up in any of the game mode only go in with a fire team of 3+. So that You guys can team carry the 4th… Once you hit onyx you’ll find ranking much harder since most groups are friends and are playing together. W/L is the only factor in your CSR for ranking between ranks… However when you go to rank IN its based on your KDA and W/L.
