The need to up the maximum possible look speed and look acceleration options. Every other Halo title let’s you turn much faster and this game feels insanely sluggish for players who play on high look sensitivity. There should also be an option to just straight up dissable look acceleration if you want to.
I mean if a player needs lower speeds to deal with lower aim assist that’s fine, but it needs to be up to the player ultimately to make that call.
Just about any other shooter franchise let’s you decide how you want aiming to function in so many more way than this game and it’s holding Infinite back big time.
Yup, I’ve been raising this as well some the ago already, the sensitivity is just waaaay to slow. You can turn all the settings all the way up but you’ll fully sacrifice any precise aiming in return, or turn everything as low as possible for the crosshair to be controllable, but then turning around takes days… Best you can hope is to find some moderate middle ground, which anyway won’t work in every scenario.

This, along with network issues, should be 343’s priority as of now, with such terrible controls there’s no way the hame can retain a decent playerbase and hoping for anyone to come back into the game anytime soon, Season 3 or not. With such awful system even doubling or tripling the sensitivity and acceleration settings won’t change much, one would argue the hame will only play even worse than it akready does, there’s a reason why pretty much everyone settles at max at 5-6 sensitivity and 2-3 acceleration, that the middle ground I mentioned earlier, anything above those two is just unpredictable, uncontrollable. Also if we’re at it - every single weapons in the hane needs to control exactly the same, there’s absolutely zero excuse.
