Will the rail gun be a power-house, orbit drop in weapon,(ex. spartan laser, sniper rifle) .or will it be a normal load out weapon (ex. assault rifle, dmr.)

It’s still a little grey. It sounds MORE like a Spartan Laser than a Brute Shot, but at the same time the fact that it only takes out infantry and not Vehicles as well makes it hard to say if this is a ‘true’ power weapon.
I think it can be grouped with the Shotgun. The Rocket Launcher is essentially guaranteed kills, but the Shotgun takes a lot more timing and precision.

Not to mention that if the Rail Gun is like the laser, then it fires its projectile across a great distance. I wonder if the projectile can take out multiple people at once…
If it can then it is definitely a power weapon. I wanna say it sounds like a cross between a hammer and a splaser. Kills people instantly, but knocks vehicles off their rocker.

Exactly. Or as they described it a splaser and a brute shot. Concussive, kinetic properties but not the powerhouse that is the Spartan Laser.
Power weapon, I’d say.
Yeah, it’s a power weapon. It’s supposed to be a good weapon in blasting vehicles, not in damage, but moving them, kind of like a more powerful concussion rifle. Getting good with it could mean you could send warthogs and ghosts flying off of cliffs.

In its current iteration, it’s considered a power weapon.
I think it is going to be a power weapon if it stays in its current state. It’s a one shot one kill weapon.
