Rail Gun new Spartan Laser?!?!

Ive been hearing word about a rail gun that will be playable in multiplayer. Now im wondering if this is going to be a power weapon similar to a spartan laser or will it be closer to a sniper rifle? Would like to see it either way! And I was wondering if it has been seen in a video or spoken about in a panel( though ive watched almost every video I could find numerous times)

Both are in the game the railgun is like brute shot with the charge but more powerful.

The Railgun will act like a Spartan Laser, but instead of destroying vehicles, it will knock them back like the Brute Shot. It will also have more splash damage.
