Hi guys, does anyone know where to locate the rail gun in the halo 5 campaign and what levels it is on? And anyone know where i can find it and thr sniper together potentially. Just trying to improve with them! Many thanks
There’s a railgun on Evacuation inside the Space Elevator that has a lot of ammo for use against Soldiers and Knights. It’s inside the little huts to the side that have breakable doors. There’s a Nornfang on Unconfirmed inside Blue Team’s Prowler and a Sniper Rifle in the part right before the mine with a bunch of Soldier Snipers.
However, my advice is that the Sniper is not good against Prometheans and using it here won’t particularly help you. On Swords of Sanghelios, Enemy Lines, and Battle of Sunaion, enemy Jackals have Beam Rifles and there are also crates of Beam Rifles around the sides of the canyons, which you get to use on Covenant. They are just as useful or better for Sniper Practice, as you work on your aim and pacing your shots to avoid overheat, so when you go into Multiplayer you actually have an easier time when you use a normal Sniper Rifle.
My best guess would be to just hop into a custom map with some friends and just practise the different weapons.

I’m usually on with members my company playing customs in the evening and although we generally play some crazy game types we made we always welcome anyone who wants to play with us. One of our most played game types does focus around using the rail gun and if you want practice with it I don’t think there is anything better than trying to hit a spartan that is thrusting all over the place to avoid them.
