I’ve checked, and I’ve played more than 1000 war gaming matches. That’s according to my Waypoint service profile, not my Halo 4 in-game profile, so that’s 1000 complete games, no JIPs or DNFs. It keeps telling me I need to play 1000 games. I entered the code twice when I was at exactly 1000, and then a third time after playing a few more games, but no luck. Is it still possible to unlock the last avatar award for Waypoint? My biggest fear is that it’s been so long that it’s permanently glitched, and with Halo 5 and the MCC already out, people might not even care.
Oh it sometimes works, other times it doesn’t. Its luck really. 
Hmmm, does that mean if I just keep inputting the code over and over, it will eventually unlock? Or does that mean that sometimes it works for some people, and other people are S.O.L.?
Is there a way I can submit a support ticket for this? I haven’t been able to find any handy dandy link where I can ask the dev or tech support team to look into the problem.
So, I’m guessing I can’t submit a support ticket and I’m not going to have any luck. Well, there go however many hours, gone and wasted.
Ninja Edit - I tried clearing system cache and reentering the code, but that didn’t work. Now I’m going to try downloading Waypoint and my profile on a different console and seeing if I can’t unlock it from there. If I can, I should be able to download the avatar item on my original hard drive. In lieu of an official response, it’s worth a shot.
