Hey guys i have the code and it works but it says its locked and that i need 1000 war games in matching and i clearly have 1001 games what gives can anyone help me out with this?
I think your 1001 includes spartan ops and campaign runs.
You need 1000 matchmaking. I believe this may be the reason. Either way, you are almost there.

Yep, it’s only for Matchmaking games.
You currently have completed 923 MM games, so you don’t have too much further to go.
EDIT:
Okay, my guess would be that the helmet requires completed MM games, the general stats page is probably including matches you didn’t finish, for whatever reason, in the total. That would be my guess.
