Raid Should Only effect Marines

Due to how effective infantry already is especially cyclops and snipers. Having raid effect them is too much and makes cutter dominate the start of games in UNSC mirrors. Having raid only effect marines can make it so other unsc can build snipers and not get kited around. Just my opinion  sick of only seeing cutter UNSC because his early game and late game drops destroys other UNSC. <3

lets make banished and unsc infantry all the same speed  then there is no complaints

Yeah Cutters raid is probably to strong and could use a nerf.

Overall this idea doesn’t sound so bad.

Idk…it’s the best part about him obvi, but take that away it’s like taking away displacement from ship.

I’d rather just bring some of the other UNSC up rather than touch cutter’s raid and bring him down.

Good Isabel players can do really well against cutter late. Obviously, good ones tho, if they make it late.

I’ve always thought that Forge’s Rolling Economy
should never been touched. Bring that back and you once again have an old favorite.

Others need work, but I wouldn’t touch cutter now. Especially when it seems like he’s the only one that can go head to head consistently with banished.

It’s one of his major strengths but it doesn’t need a change. The UNSC isn’t a strong as the banished anyway. Nerfing that would give the banished an even greater advantage.

I’d rather just have the others be buffed. The only reason he gets used more is because the others either got nerfed or just aren’t that great.

Take away his infantry speed, then what does he really bring?

Maybe 1st point only effect marines then the 2nd effect all? (Unless it already does that)

It should but then that tanks his ability in banished match ups later in the game… He’s already a win by 10m or go home kind of guy. Just he’s reaaaaaaaaaaaally good at winning by 10m.

It’s more due to the other UNSC not being able to use a single unit well till Tech 2 and by then he’s got all the counters he needs and they play into his strengths where literally none of anyone’s else do.

That makes no sense… It’s a leader power. If all other units were the same speed, then Cutters infantry would be slower until the UNSC raid is used… Hence removing the positive leader power effect…

I think this makes sense from a UNSC mirror standpoint, because Cutter dominates that matchup. However I feel like that change would really hurt Cutter against any Banished leader.

I’d much prefer buffs to Warthogs and Kodiaks, that makes it so infantry ball isn’t the only effective strategy for UNSC, and other leaders can counter Cutter’s infantry with those vehicles.

This is the only thing he has going for him. Also, both forge and kinsano have better unit drops late game.

For example, his movement speed is negated by Kinsano because of her early drops that can change the tide of an engagement. His movement speed only benefits infantry which is the easiest rush/unit to counter. I don’t really understand all of it, but maybe that’s because I’m constantly playing against banished players because of the current meta.

Cutter has odst drop, gunships only 1500 supply, army drop, he’d still have insanely fast infantry that capture nodes super fast. (Great for scouting and map control)

infantry raid is pretty ridiculous and needs to be toned down.

I think the way raid functions for banished is a lot more fair. The movespeed is a bit overwhelming as you simply can’t disengage Cutter when he spots you.

How does it work for banished? Also yeah, basically if you are caught at all on the map against cutter it’s gg.

It increases sight range but offers no speed buff.

Cutters raid has no sight buff, just speed. I think the raid is fair for both sides. But I am a cutter main and I might be biased. However I have played with all the UNSC leaders and all of their lack of speed makes them horrible vs any type of decent banished leader.

The entire game is about map control and vision. If you can see further you can react faster. This is why shipmaster is so good. As well as cutter. But if you have slow units or units without a large sight range you will lose to those that can. All depending on skill of course. This is all based on what I have seen and my own skill level. So I could be wrong…
