Why is it that after i quit a bunch of games on matchmaking, that the game says i cant play temporarily.
Quitting too much may cause the team to lose unevenly to the opposing team. So, what you have experienced is a quit ban, and the ban lasts 15 mins. Try to finish the game instead of quitting.
thanks for the reply, and thats something new to halo. So lame, i quit cause my team sucks and it not worth screaming over.
Halo used to have a massive quitting problem. Every time a team even began to lose, the quits would begin. The quit ban was heavily controversial at the time of it’s implementation (I think Halo 3?) and somewhat still is today, but it did help the problem. 343i (and formally Bungie) used to offer credit jackpots to those who regularily finished their games. I think they still do, but I’m not sure.
What everyone else said. But I don’t get how you didn’t discover this until now. It’s always on the Matchmaking menu.

Yes I know people like you where it me vs. 4 in swat because every one quit, or in firefight it me vs all of them because people are afking and lagged out or every one quit.
some of my fav moments are when the rest of the team quit and i pulled it out with a win after they left like a pro ( because i could kill 2 or 3 or of them and they could only get one at a time on me.)
Quiters are just like AFKer’s they deserve reset. take your loss like a Man/Woman tell the other team congrads, then quit out if you must. but i like it when i find people that challenge me, why because it makes me get better.
Quiters are NOOBs blaming everything on other people

So true, I only quit if I NEED to go somewhere, but I usually don’t. Me + brother + some other guy and we almost won an invasion game on spire with just 3 people…that was a fun game.

No, it doesn’t not help the problem. Oh, and the quit ban isn’t in Halo 3 (unless the skeleton crew banhammer is set to banning you if you quite loads and loads of times, which I’ve never seen or heard of). People quit games in Reach as often as they do in Halo 3.
Quit Ban!!
Those things make me so happyyy… Lol =)
