At the bottom right corner of the night-time scene in the time-of-day screenshot, there appears to be a radio beacon or some similar device that has been placed as it does not appear in any of the other scenes. Any thoughts on what this could be? Radar jammer? Spawn beacon? Equipment to signal reinforcements?

Good eyes. It somewhat resembles the floodlight Forge item, but the top part looks more like antenna wires than bulbs. Even if it’s not gameplay-relevant, it’s interesting to note that a UNSC squad set up equipment here.
