Most of the strategic decisions are made based on enemy movement seen on the radar and i see a problems with this:
Everyone is playing the game eyes glued to the radar 95% of the game and that takes away the joy of looking at and playing the actual game.
A good example is the shotgun+radar combo… you can get a killtacular just by only looking at the radar and not even really looking at the players on the big screen.
Sometimes i feel like i’m a walking radar robot when playing halo.
Either the radar range should be shorter or the spartans should have some kind of spider sense warning them when someone is running behind them.
If the range is shorter then it is enough to just glance at it and react to it when someone is close.
Also if the range would be shorter it would eliminate much of players who crouch just in time to not show on your radar and then can easily surprize you. If they only saw you on the radar when you are close they would not have time to purposefully crouch at the right time for an easy kill.
Halo should be a game of Halo and not a game of radar.
Halo 5 gameplay looks AWESOME by the way!!!
