Maybe I just haven’t played Halo in too long but I cannot STAND the radar in Infinite. As far as I can tell you only show up when sprinting, and even then it feels like it has a 10 foot radius. Growing up I was constantly looking at my radar, it’s one of the things that makes Halo Halo, but now I feel like I am CONSTANTLY being “snuck up on” when the person isn’t even crouched. I feel like the only time you shouldn’t show up on the radar is if you’re crouch walking. It’s starting to really bum me out that I’m dying to people who aren’t on my radar, but maybe I just need to adapt. Either way it’s been a super frustrating flight at times.
(Still having lots of fun though)
I agree. I have died so many times because the radar does not detect enemies until they are right next to you. By the time you find out they’re there, you get killed. That’s really the only thing that’s bugging me with this flight (and the lack of aim assist) and I hope they adjust it
I agree with the radar issue…
I was literally about to make a post about the Radar, LOL. I agree, I think in Infinite it’s a bit irritating how it’s seemingly less reliable than past titles.
As far as your own indicators go, it only hides when you crouch, even when moving at the slowest standing speed. I don’t know if it translates to other peoples’ radars, though.
I don’t know about you guys but I simply can barely stand the radar being canted, and not facing the player. Might be something devs have time to explore creating options for later on.
it’s definitely too small. 25 meters down to 18? since when was radar range an issue?
