You literally dont see anyone on the radar unless they are an inch away from you. Like what is that? Bring back Halo 3 Radar. It has nothing to do with how small the radar is, its the fact there is no ping meter.
I don’t mind the smaller radar
Radar is fine, it saves me from spartan charge all the time. Adapt.
Radar is fine as is.
radar is only 18M in arena
BTB and warzone have larger radars, and idk if social does or not
The number of times I get smacked in the back by some enemy who is just following me at a distance is ridiculous. The red dots don’t show up half the time, they are too faint to catch with the corner of your eye, and the range is MUCH smaller than 18m, or else the meter is considerably lower than a real meter. No reason someone around a corner shouldn’t be on my radar.
I don’t understand the hate for the radar, like it works fine. I rarely ever get killed from behind.
It’s fine. Man up.

Sometimes they don’t show up because either the person is standing still or crouched. If you’re standing still and/or crouched, you won’t show up on radar.
prior to and immediately after release the developers talked about his at length. The reason for the change was to normalize the field, as advance players slaughtered novices primarily by radar. The motion detector in this game is primarily a final warning you’re about to get hit. And it’s important to think of it as a motion detector, not radar.

This was just BS the spun, as if you did make the radar big most players would not even be able to shoulder charge you or even be able to sneak up on another player.
As I do this to players alot and by th time they realise im there… bam they are dead. Which makes doing this other other players all the more easier.
radar is ok , 18m in Arena is perfect
I think this radar is the best one in all the halo games so far. But like someone said above, if you use it as a motion tracker more than a “where is this guy” locator, it works perfect.
is it 18 m in multi team or bigger? Anyways radar sucks in this game, I agree. They won’t change anything about it though, we can only hope for a proper motion tracker in h6 which does halo justice.

How are they supposed to know if the motion sensor is the primary reason? They are advanced players, of course they are going to slaughter novice players. The primary reason for that slaughter is simply because they have more skill than the novice players. This is simply a ridiculous conclusion. Why does 343 insist on giving noobs a better chance than they deserve? What’s next, if your KD is less than 2.0 then you receive double damage? I’m not buying it, sorry.

this is not BS try playing with bronze-silver type players… youll see you can literally follow them around the map without crouching or anything and they will never notice you until they actually see you
