Tbf this mode has alot of campers anyways, but i can see how radar would make it even worse
Imagine playing a game with your eyes and ears instead of staring at the radar. Campers wouldn’t appear on radar anyway. They would just camp and watch radar. Radar shouldn’t be in this mode, because it’s already campy enough. Put your headphones on and keep your eyes peeled.
get a 5.1 headset. better than any radar
Honestly im glad it doenst have one. And i dont tend to have a problem playing either.
Did they really make footsteps louder? Im typically listening to kusic while playing it xD
So yeah while I think radar might make it a little less immersive of a game mode I just really hate spectating for a long time
I’m not sure if this is a problem that just I have but every time when you lose the message pops up that you can quit and all your challenge progress will be saved but every time I do that it doesn’t add my challenge progress, so if I lose like half way through the game I’ve got enough challenge progress that I’d be mad if I lose it, but I still gotta sit through another, what feels like an hour of spectating just to get my xp. The least they could do is put in radar to make the games go a little faster so it’s not as unbearable to spectate.
Theres no way you’re gonna sit there and type that lmao
when there’s no radars there will be campers waiting to ambush anyone who pass by.
“radars encourage campers” hurr durr, the game mode already does encourage campers and the radar is beneficial for both players (camper gets to see) and the one can see where the terrible spawns are spawning other players with OV
How tf am I gonna get 15 back smacks then? ![]()
There are plenty of people that have been coddled by motion tracker in this game that they blindly fly around corners without a care in the world. Try to learn how to exploit that to your advantage.
It’ll still probably be time consuming.
This is a tiresome argument. If there’s no radar, the only reason someone is camping is because they’re scared. The size of this map doesn’t favor a kill from the benefit of camping. I’ve played probably 50 games of LSS and haven’t encounter a death where it was from a blatant camper.
Death from a player strafing into cover during a battle and popping OS is a much bigger issue. I wonder how many players are mistaking an active camo player walking up to back smack as a camper.
Camping as a whole doesn’t seem too effective in the new game with how open it is. There’s not many actual good camping spots that you can’t check out from a mile away before getting close to engage said person.
The Battle Rifle is also one of the last weapons you can unlock in the mode too. Which would be the more ideal combat weapons before both campers and aggressive players. Campers will probably not get enough kills to even unlock it unless you’re match is full of stupid players.
The spawns are extremely predictable.
Still haven’t lost a game where I’ve got the BR. It just gives you such overwhelmingly powerful options.
Only thing that can beat a BR is another BR.
Blame Challenges at first place
I don’t care that much, but I never understood the concept that No Radar encourages less camping. I don’t know about you, but I find that I play more conservatively without Radar and stay in one spot so I don’t get shot in the back.
Even with Radar, it requires that you have good awareness so you know someone might be camping you, but at least you can react to them when they do. However, I also see the perspective of the No Radar that allows you to just run around and get easier kills when they don’t see you coming. (my wording makes it seem like a negative, lol)
When you die, you can see where the other players are, making harder to camp.
I will always be for the radar, it’s an important element in Halo
The challenges are lame
So I don’t have to play against you camping wussys
