The idea of racing is something that should be looked at, and when I say race/racing I mean going around on a track made out of forge piece’s and the landscape like a game of Mario Kart with a set number of lap’s and hazard’s on the track. Race can work with set number of team’s Halo has, and one person on each team could get their own Mongoose/Warthog. Rocket hog race and Rocket race with Mongooses and rocket launcher’s is bland, boring, and just make’s you afk till someone win’s, it’s just a Micheal Bay wet dream in a nut shell, it’s just explosion’s.
So Would you prefer to see Race with tracks, laps and hazards return?
Or should 343 stick with the Micheal Bay Wet dream?
I’m going with the Michel Bay with reason.
If you only do one lap on a bigger track it keeps it more interesting and set pieces like explosion add to the fresh experience of a map you might have played before. Driving around in a circle on a most likely flat grey forerunner lookin track doesn’t exactly get my heart pounding.

Both could happen but when you’ve played enough of it in Reach, it just seem’s like a waste really. More map
s for it in Reach would be nice but it’s limited since there’s only so few big maps.
> You can kind of already do this with Reach’s forge.
But has anything been done about it to get it’s own playlist? No it hasn’t, as far as Multi team goes it’s just a canyon and sometimes an island with two other people and three other teams.

Y u So Serious face? You so closed minded about there being a playlist to just kick back and play the game without having to kill people?

You’re right, yet wrong at the same time. You’re right because… well, Halo isn’t about racing. You’re wrong simultaneously, being the fact that Halo has focused mostly on the sandbox and giving the community more of an option when playing Halo, giving fans a bunch of tools so they could shape Halo’s multiplayer in brilliant and innovative ways. The biggest example of that being Forge mode.
If anything, I’d love it if they added more options toward something like the Action Sack playlist on the community multiplayer section of Halo matchmaking. I’d also like it if they’d remove all of the mostly competitive gametypes like Team Snipers or Shotty Snipers from Action Sack, for they’re already in playlists such as Team Slayer and other games depending on competition, where I feel is most appropriate for such games.
We know of four sections diving Halo 4’s gameplay: Campaign, War Games, Spartan Ops, and Forge. War Games seems more of a fitting section to store the aforementioned competitive games such as Team Snipers. They should have an Action Sack playlist where games such as Griffball, Rocket Race, and other brilliant creations by community members are stored. It gives more option to multiplayer.
Anybody else play awesome games like that toilet map from Forge of that game where a bunch of players run from a Kill Ball? A bunch of stuff like that should be added to a Halo 4 recreation of Action Sack to provide a better community experience. It’d be nice to take a break from the typical ‘shoot-melee-grenade’ triangle to try something new.
If you’ve played a bunch of Forge-created maps with your friends and came to like them, this should definitely appeal to you. Please, feel free to add on to these ideas for a bigger idea to define the social multiplayer of Halo 4. While competitive is great and all, it’s best to focus on other varieties of Halo. That it what Halo’s about, after all.
