It’s a shame that all this is too little and too late
EDIT:
I still appreciate 343 attempts at improving Halo 4

Maybe for the fans who prematurely jumped ship, but we can still enjoy the updates.
And also, there’s always Halo 5…
“Before we part ways, there is one more thing I’d like to mention: Halo is blessed with an amazing community. During these quiet times it is our truly passionate fans that shine the brightest. It’s because of all of you that we get to work on something we love each and every day, and we’re grateful for that opportunity. Please continue giving us your feedback, both about Halo 4 and what you’d like to see in the next installment of the franchise. Because, while you may not know it yet, you’re guiding our path for the future. And it’s a bright one, indeed.” -BS Angel
I saw Race, and I was like “Not a big surprise Race was coming. Nice to finally play a Race playlist (even though Bungie promised a Race playlist and it never happened).”
I then saw Rocket Race, and I was like “I know which playlist I’m completely avoiding…”
Honestly i like the update. Thought for sure Multi-Team would always be a permanent playlist there goes 1 of my CSR 50s on quickcsr. Maybe they listened to Gandhi’s Thoughts about having less playlists and how that would make MM better. I’m pretty stoked to go for that Race 50. Great Bulletin 343.
I’m wondering how Race is going to work in this game, exactly… I’ve heard of some people being able to replicate the gametype using Ricochet (not sure how that works); is that what 343i’s going to do, or are they just bringing back the original Race gametype from Halo:Reach?
As for the DLC… personally, I’m hoping to see some playlists require Castle and Crimson; I like all the maps (to hell with the Crimson-haters) and besides which there’s still one achievement from the Crimson DLC I don’t; the only achievement I have left in Halo 4.

Everything good comes to those who wait.
I had no problems, but to improve on my perfect experience, thank you 343.
Congrats on all those babies by the way!
> Forcibly making people buy DLC to play the most basic of playlists is not a good thing. I think it will hurt them even more.
I would wager that there’s enough people already with Majestic DLC for a healthy population.
Besides,

It’s basically an experiment and I’d rather they try. If it fails then Halo 4 isn’t really going to be much worse off than it already is.
I for one want to play my -Yoink!- DLC and Majestic is somewhere to start.
