A new article posted by Gamespot talks about the return of the gamemodes, some more talk about forge and more information on the new canvases (BTW we are getting 650 more items to play with), and more! So, I know you were already excited for this update, but how about now?

And we’re still missing Oddball. It’s even in customs (by tweaking with the assault settings) and it baffles me how one of my favourite gamemodes, a gamemodes that has been in every halo game since CE isn’t in matchmaking for Halo 5

Social Skirmish is one of the many playlist changes coming tomorrow! Perhaps we’ll see Objective as well?
Aw man! ;( The server I’m on is blocking the link… I’m excited though. I’ve only played KoTH once on Halo 3 MCC. It was super fun! Forgers will be glad to see race for their tracks! I never “left” Halo 5, but I’ll admit, I’ve been playing other games lately. Now I think the only game that will pry me off of Halo 5 is Halo Wars 2. This is probably the biggest and most traditional update yet!

I can not wait for some great king of the hill battles, it’ll set up a mix of both rapid battles with the assault rifle and other rapid fire weapon. Also it will set up great sniper points, and hopefully some awesome shotgun plays. Fingers crossed for shotguns.

With how amazing forge is in Halo 5 I doubt that forge minigames could be anything short of amazing.

Right? Hopefully they update Action Sack with all of these cool new minigames! But even if they don’t, I eagerly await to see what can be found in the custom games browser.

KOTH returning warms my heart. That was always my favorite Halo game type. If they really wanna tug my heart strings, we’ll get Multi-Team Crazy King here soon too.
