Anybody know if Race contributes to commendations? I know Ricochet and Grifball count towards Oddball, and any type of slayer based gametype counts towards Slayer commendations. But does Race count towards any?
Not that I can see. It appears to be a version of CTF, but doesn’t register as such in the commendations.

Really? I thought KotH.
Yeah I was thinking KotH too, or maybe even Ricochet because of the hill/goal.
I haven’t taken a close look at the gametype but if you save it to your Xbox, the system files it under CTF.
I would love for it to count towards Dominion wins. >_>
Hello Ex Zen Mute.

Why is a good question.
My favorite why is this: Why did they disable the horn?

Apparently there is a glitch that only the connection host can use the horn, but if you fall out of your mongoose and get back on then the horn starts working.
I was really looking forward to constantly beeping the horn while racing.

You know, I’m pretty sure that glitch was in Halo:Reach’s Race gametype as well…

It was the first thing I tried to do when I loaded up my first race. For some reason, even though I knew the horn wasn’t working, I kept mashing the button throughout the race. Must be a habit.
