> The most noticeable changes will include those features seen exclusively on Bungie.net, such as rendered films, nameplates, and Halo: Reach API keys. Those features are not included in the transition, and we do not have plans to develop similar features at this time.
I’ve been through the five stages of grief already:
Denial - “This isn’t right, 343i wouldn’t discontinue such a great service. Halo 4 is coming out soon, so it has to be included with that!”
Anger - “WHY ARE THEY Yoink! AROUND WITH MATCHMAKING? CONCENTRATE ON THE IMPORTANT STUFF Yoink!”
Bargaining - “Maybe If I make a thread about it, I can gather enough people that will show their support for the feature…”
Depression - “Oh, what’s the point? I don’t get many replies in my threads anyway. Nobody is going to reply and I’m going to lose all my rendered videos”
Acceptance - “If they can’t handle that feature right now then it’s best they don’t bother and concentrate on Halo 4. 343i know what’s best.”
Though it is sad to know we won’t be able to render videos, that’s not to say we won’t be having any. Perhaps later on before Halo 4 releases will hear about their own rendering service.

> Sadly probably not… just to be safe, i’m making sure my nameplate is what I want it to be just in case it ends up being permanent.
I think this is going to be hard on the majority of Halo Fans. I’ve had my Bungie nameplate and I want to keep it!! It sucks big time, that now (03-31-2012)I won’t be able to look a my medal chest, and if I lose my Bungie nameplate because of this switch I’m going to be !Yoinked! Especially I was only introduced to Halo in November of 2010, and was able to participate in only one Bungie Day. Better try to save anything on my computer that I may want to keep. (Images and all)
Meh. They are only things that will inevitably come back better than before further down the line. For me it is not that big of a deal, I can understand why it may be for others.

> How are you guys coping?
If the features are implemented eventually, I’m ok with this.
> Yea this sucks! I can pretty much say goodbye to my Halo youtube channel!
If ur looking to get an affordable easy to use capture card, I suggest a Roxio Game Capture. Its what I use to record for my channel. It doesnt record in HD but depending on the program videos can be upscaled to 720p. Plus it half of the price of a HD PVR. Check out the more recent videos on my youtube channel to get an idea of the quality. Heres the link http://www.youtube.com/user/ThePsychosocialite?feature=mhee
