I’m sad to hear there will be no dual wield in Halo 4. Sure, it messes up balance of weapons, but it’s just fun to play. I’d rather see shotgun/energy sword (one of those, not both) gone, so there’s a room for close combat with smgs/plasmas/spikers in both hands and maniacal look on the face.
it was only really ever useful in Halo 2. Halo 3 would have played the same without it, you could almost forget it was even an option in Halo 3. You just skipped pass most dual weapons.
It was just useless, so why bother implement it.
But it was fun

Well, Sprint is useless and I would much rather they put it instead of Sprint [not hating on it, I just don’t see it’s advantages].
This is insane. It better be in the campaign.

I don’t care about sprint either, but you can’t say it was useless. getting to weapons and vehicles faster or running for your life changed the game. Dual wielding was nerfed and was never very effective in Halo 3.
It was little overpowered in Halo 2 and underpowered in Halo 3. But it was fun. They could have work on it so it was well balanced and fun, but they’ve dropped whole idea. After Halo 4 comes out no one will play Halo 3, and dual wielding will be lost. Since Xbox controller have triggers on BOTH sides, it’s just… sad.

Yes it was. It was like a power weapon that disabled your grenades and melee. You needed to make major sacrifices for a major gain. As for sprint, all the things you stated are pointless as long as you just up the base player speed, especially since sprint will always be available/ isn’t an AA anymore.
