Dear 343 Studios,
First, welcome to halo reach! I am writing you in hopes that you will prevail for me where bungie failed. About seven months ago I noticed that I could no longer upload anything onto fileshare. It tells me that “the creator of this file is not allowed on xbox live”. I have read through the forums and I see that others are having this problem as well. Yet, no one had an answer to the problem besides changing your gamertag. I dont buy it. I find it ridiculous that after having PAID FOR years of xbox live that I should be forced to change my beloved gamertag. (Its awesome, I REFUSE.) I’d like to stress again that I have PAID for this gamertag and should be allowed to use ALL of the services that come with it- including uploading files onto my file share. If that is the only answer to this problem then I would have no choice but to feel like i’ve been utterly robbed of my hard earned money. $50 is al ot of money. I have spent hours on the phone with representitives on this issue and still no solution besides changing my gamertag, which is not offensive in ANY way. There is just no reason for this and it is very unfair not to mention just bad business. Someone needs to figure something out. Please, please help me and the others that are having this problem, or I think a refund is in order because thats what happens when you buy something from a store that doesnt work as it should- you get your money back.
You should have read the XBOX ToS better. You have no rights. Not even if you paid for it.
It’s not Bungie, it’s not the game, it’s your Privacy Settings 
Go to your Profile, play around an you’ll find your Privacy Settings. Set “View community content” (I don’t remember the exact words) to “Everyone”. That should fix it.
Hold on, can you access Theater? If yes forget what I just said.
Are you sure your not Fileshare Banned from Halo 3 or Reach? If you are banned from one, you are banned from both.
After reading the issue you’re experience from other sources I don’t get how your GT is offensive by any means.
Can you upload files in Halo 3? or is it just with Halo: Reach that it doesn’t work?
Dropship Dude, a pretty well respected Mythic member from B.net posted here, had the same problem.
Pretty sure he knows his stuff, so Microsoft must be just durping up EVERYWHERE.
Your name ‘Queen of Pain’ in on the censor for Xbox LIVE, try putting it in your motto on Xbox, it won’t let you.
This problem makes it so your name becomes offensive and disallows you to place files on your File Share.
Solution: Change your gamertag.

Agreed, I tried to put ‘Queen’ then ‘Pain’ in my motto and it was fine but as soon as I put the ‘of’ in the middle, not allowed.
The Microsoft Censor got really strict as of late, ‘coca’ isn’t allowed, ‘16’ isn’t allowed.
My guess is “Queen of” something. anything feminine of something.

I just tried ‘Queen of G’, seemed to work fine.
‘Queen of Pain’ doesn’t though.
Just a censor problem.
As I said in a similar thread about this, the guys responsible for adding words to the filter obviously are playing “lets pick a random word from a dictionary and add it”. And it seems like they really love playing that game.
Or maybe they’re playing “lets add random words and see how long it takes before a superior notices and actually gives a -Yoink- about it.”

I don’t know if its related but every Custom Game I make has to be replaced with Blam as of late. Its really stupid. Omega Journey isn’t allowed.

I can still upload stuff to my fileshare, though. But I guess it’s just a matter of time until that changes.
Yeah this happened to me last night when I just wanted to complete the challenge.
It wasn’t allowing me to upload anything to File Share that had my Gamer-Tag as the Creator or Author and it makes absolutely NO sense. I’ve not done anything wrong and even if it is a Censor Word Game they’re “playing”…why NOW? I hadn’t even uploaded anything since the last challenge which was like a week ago. I renamed every vid I had with Assassination in the title yesterday so what gives??
Extensively frustrated since my Bungie Pro is practically going to waste.
Well I just sent 343 an e-mail since I dare not even bother trying to contact Bungie about it. Hopefully, this will provide SOME sort of answer. Maybe if people start emailing en mass, we’ll get somewhere.

Enter your comment or question below.____The subject is Live ID Issues mainly b/c when I went to upload a File to my File Browser on Halo Reach last night, everything I tried told me - “The creator of the file is not allowed on XBOX Live” which makes absolutely no sense since i was ON Xbox Live all night. This is apparently a common issue and has been going since Bungie was at the Halo helm. I also have paid for Bungie Pro so being I can’t utilize my Files, this is insanely frustrating. If there was an actual reason as to WHY it says I’m “not allowed”, then this would be no big deal but I am 110% certain I’ve done nothing wrong to have this happen. My Gamer Tag is Zoidberg Psycko and there isn’t even anything remotely offensive about it. Even so…why last night? I have friends on my list with the same surname in their Gamer Tag (Psycko) and everything works fine for them.

I’d agree that there’s a bug in Microsoft’s system. I wasn’t able to get that final challenge yesterday because it refused to upload anything I tried to my file. Always said “This creators name is not allowed on XBL.” and I tried all sorts of name change conventions but nothing worked.
