"Certain" People will get the TU beta.

After watching the streams, videos and looking at posts. A good friend linked me this twitter.
Here, Saying certain people will get the beta. I wonder what you have to do to get it.

After starting numerous large TU discussions, i hope i will get chance. I’m loving what i see so far. No bloom FOR THE WIN

Hoping it means just those signed up to the Waypoint forums get access.

That would be a brilliant idea by 343i, to get the community pouring into this forum. It’s still empty at the moment.

At first I thought I got the dates all right, but now I’m mixed up.

So the title update will come mid-to-late September. But a playlist for it will be up in October?

I think thats right.

I would love to test out the beta :stuck_out_tongue:

I hope I’ll get a chance. The TU looks great, except for the AL nerfing. D:

That’s an awful idea! Every player should have an equal chance to test out the changes and have a say. :frowning:

The AL ‘nerfing’ was the ESSENTIAL and most important fix.

Especially the sticky shredding aspect of AL and the ridiculous duration…

Also is the shortening of the AC excellent…

Nope. We saw what happened after the Reach Beta, so it’s definitely a better idea to give the beta only certain people.

Which means only certain people would have a say in the changes to the game that they’re all playing… and that a lot of people would be stuck with it, especially if they didn’t want to play Vanilla Reach settings.

Well hopefully all the changes that were listed werent the ONLY changes. I mean honestly the Plasma Repeater NEEDS a buff.

The Banshee bomb needs a nerf.

Etc.

Maybe veterans of the Halo Universe get the beta? Or Maybe you need to prove you will give constructive feedback. Not just
“OAMG t3h AMUR luk is bro3kenz”

I’ve played all the FPS Bungie games, I signed on here at 343’s site a long time ago. I have certainly developed a set of opinions of what made Halo popular and great.

Tack on the melee fix, and you are 100% correct.

Other than that, I think that it would be quite the idea to give everybody on these forums access to the beta hopper. It’ll really make things a bit more focused and organized. Last thing we need are less experienced players complaining about things they can’t get used to quickly.

Yeah i was thinking that, maybe it has something to do with how experienced you are at halo. So your opinion matters. For example we don’t need feedback of a CoD fanboy who has played halo for 2 hours. The core of the community should be rewarded.

It said they are going to take the feedback from the millions of players playing the beta, so I doubt it will be limited…

This is definitely the best idea i’ve seen, it makes sense since you have to link your GT to get access to these forums. So each linked GT gets beta access, but I highly doubt this is the case as he showed it’s going to be a playlist and it would most likely take more work to give the beta to a large amount of “certain” people than just releasing it as a playlist thru XBL.

I thought it would be open but what about that tweet? Maybe it was just bad wording?

I have a feeling it will be like the Halo Reach beta. Some people will get codes in the beginning then open it up to friends and family. Eventually 343 will open up the hoppers to anyone. I hope that the feedback forums are limited to players that have played X amount of games in those playlists though.
