Whether playing on ranked playlists or not I’ve found that almost every game I play in somebody quits.
As of right now with how long it takes to get a matchmade game, having players quit ruins gameplay so much. I’m just posting this hoping there can be some sort of worthwhile punishment for quitters.
That’s how Halo always was. Once ranks stop acting funky and after 343 fixes it (They will reset everyone’s ranks) I think we will experience less quiting because the ranks will start to hold some merit and you will match with people closer to your rank.
In my opinion people who go AFK are much worse than people who quit in my opinion and deserve a moderate timed ban. I’d much rather you quit than stand there and give 15 freebie kills to the enemy team. The only time I personally get irritated with quiters are when I am playing an objective game because if the other teams is even half decent they will always win.
Wait until MCC is working a lot smoother before we start punishing players for leaving games that are broken. Some people aren’t quitting, but instead getting dropped from games, others are experiencing so much lag that the games are just unplayable.
