People are still fine tuning their play style and learning Infinite. Your W/L ratio doesn’t matter in a damn tech preview. If you’re on a losing team, the only way to outdo your opponent is to outplay them. You don’t want to be on a losing team on release, perfectly understandable. But a tech preview is just silly.
I really don’t get this at all. Literally every other match people keep quitting.
What if they aren’t enjoying the match? I know I’ve had a few that were a slog to go through.
I had a match on bazaar we’re almost flag Capped and my teammates both of them ran away from the flag And The enemy teams flag didn’t need to be returned and I was like I’m a 20 year old halo vet and was like I’m out this match good bye lol

Use those matches to gain the upper hand by learning more about the maps and weapons. 343 should include a penalty for players that leave games large enough to cause humiliation. For instance, tallying games people forfeited on and match players with high percentage rates. There’s a similar design for live games already (i.e., Overwatch). Teams with a larger amount of players can have easy advantages like covering more of the spawn locations. It’s dreadful to force myself to play through a 2v4 match.
I quit one game because it was choppy and freezing and was probably going to crash anyway. At a certain point it’s just a waste of time when the game isn’t really playable. When it’s a tech preview, and the tech is failing, there’s no reason to continue.
Well, there isn’t currently a way to set matchmaking preferences that pairs full fire teams with other full fire teams.
Matchmaking as a solo person and getting put in a team of other solo players is not even slightly engaging when you’re matched against a full squad of friends that communicate and cooperate with one another.
Why stay in a game where you get completely shut out by a synced team that stays in a group, that can easily pick you and you’re teammates off before you can pop even one persons shields?
No amount of “Getting good” will help you in those situations.
You may as well forfeit and get into another match where it feels like you’re making a difference, or remotely having a good time.
You should probably blame the proggression system becuz if your challenge weapon doesn’t spawn on that specific map there is no reason stay. no end match xp nor rewards unless ur challenge was complete a match.
Probably safe to say a lot of these are crashes. I was playing all day with 5 friends in BTB and it was maybe every other game one of us would crash or just not connect to the match.
Iv’e had a few matches that have crashed me out of the game, although there is most likely quitters, it’s not possible to say one way or the other, it’s a test flight so it’s bound to happen.
Iv’e been left with just me vs 4 on mcc sometimes, and I never quit out, even if I’m getting pummelled,

How do you know they’re quitting, because they left mid match? Let’s not forget this is a tech preview and crashes are happening.
I got temp banned tonight because i crashed out of several games.
Not doubting there are quitters but a lot of them could just be getting disconnected, it’s been happening pretty frequently to people.
The stupid challenge only system since the “geniuses” over at 343i can’t make a BASIC xp system… I’ve backed out of multiple games because it ain’t the game mode i need to do my challenge
