Quitting is endemic in Warzone and Infection

I seem to be reporting 3-4 players every Warzone and infection game for quitting at the moment.

Is there any point or does the banhammer automatically detect this problem anyway?

I do worry that some people I report are disconnected by server problems though.

Edit: some people are defending the quitters. Post your thoughts either way.

Report them and let MS sort them out. As soon as some adversity starts the quitting begins. I report all quitters on my team.

I will report them depending on the situation. I know that I occasionally have to quit because I have to leave the house, and I know other people have good reasons to quit. However, when someone quits when we are down 20 points then I assume that it was because they were quitting because they didn’t want to lose

Well do you blame them for leaving Warzone?

It sucks when you’re losing heavily but I always stick it out. I’ve never quit games just because I’m losing, going all the way back to Halo 2.

For me, even if you are losing, just stick it out. At least you will leave the game with something, rather then nothing

ive had games i got disconnected with 20+ kills in arena and we were like a few kills away from the win, and then you get messages like “noob” and “quitter” (and a whole lot of swearing with it)

and im like; bruh i carried you. what you on about. this is more hurtful for me because i wont get the points you ****

i report everyone too… on my team and enemy one too

I don’t see how reporting would do any thing since people report for no reason.

Like my profile said some thing like people had marked me as avoid for abusing mic use and I didn’t even have a mic.

Agreed

Yes, when I spend a legendary boost, & then end up in a short handed game.

I don’t really care as much with non-ranked modes, I still don’t condone quitting and I don’t quit myself unless I have some sort of real life emergency. After a game is over I’ll usually check quitters gamercards and if I don’t see that they are offline I report them for Quitting early.

1 quiting is not an epidemic in warzone and infection, because those game types have JOIN IN PROGRESS. it is an epicdemic in ARENA because of no join in proggress

2 no one and i repeat no one is okay with being camped out with 5 rail guns pointed out their face for 20 plus minutes going 3-20. warzone is a awful gamemode for the same reason call of duty ghost was the worst call of duty, trying to be battlefield like.

i ready do love the idea of warzone, but the execution of maps, and how players play has little to no place in halo. i don’t play halo to have 3 tanks 7 railguns and 3 ghost… SPAWNED IN.

if there was to be a warzone slayer that was not about camping (i mean base control) then i might be more inclined to enjoy it. but as it stands, it is a battlefield rip-off that does not work because you have sooo much health.
on 4 out of the 5 maps, once you get the middle point, you can just stay there and rain death. not my idea of fun

Real old news, so old that it predates dinosaurs and Bronze Age, people than mass quitting different forms of games Halo forever , do you have a solution ? I keep playing hoping people will stop this behavior .

quitters

Yeah, sure, that guy might have an emergency or something but I guess it makes sense to just waste your time reporting people.

3-4 people have emergencies every game?

If it is an emergency a one-off report will do them no harm anyway, surely.

The reason quitting is so common in warzone is because there’s no penalty for rage quitting. That’s probably because 343 wants people to play warzone more and buy more req packs.

As much as I hate it, I always stay in a losing game of warzone. If anything, I’ll stay and try to get more kills than deaths and just wait for the imminent loss. Although, disconnects have always been a problem for me, I’ll be there when a game has just started and then I start lagging even to the point where I can’t even interact with anything and I see other players just standing or running into a wall and then I just get disconnected. Hate it when this happens to me and my team is winning.

I don’t see the point in reporting them since all it is going to do is make them play with cheaters and trolls, actual malicious people.

Even if they back out, chances are they were at the bottom and were not helping our team. We can still come back and win without them.

Plenty of times I actually hope certain people on my team quit.
