Hey guys. So my friend and I have been winning matches a lot recently and have seen some players leave and the other team is down a person. I thought there was a way to stop the quitters from quitting. Anyone else have the same issue? It happens in COD 4 remastered. People quit there too when your team winning so its not just Halo specific.
People quitting games? What? I’ve never heard of that.
But seriously: How would you propose that the developer address the problem?
There is no solution, only to punish more severe when they leave, because I think they only give minutes of banishment
yea people just quit so they don’t lose but they don’t get xp either I hate quitters it is what caused me to be screwed when my team quit. They should be banned.
Hopefully the automated Banhammer catches up to them.
Beyond that, all you can do is report them for quitting early.
Quit while still a full team, bad.
Quit when its 4 vs 1, understandable.
Even when I’m losing I will never leave I don’t give a s*** even if I joined late and the other guy quits and it’s 5 to 46. Never surrender keep on fighting and don’t be that bloody guy that f****** quits becuse there 1 point in the lead and they died once and are saltier than the the Dead Sea (so salty you can float in it without any effort) and they question the player that kills them and calls them a hacker repetitively . In reality they just suck at the game. that you get hate messages even though you were not the one that killed them. Just tell them to mature and maybe you might hear them out just maybe (probably not)
Sometimes I quit when my team is losing if I’m finding it difficult to get a kill. Sometimes I’ll be 12 deaths, zero kills, 9 assist. So I’m not contributing to my team, just to the other team. And it’s most of the time my garbage internet.
I’ve notice more games I’m playing will either be a huge lose or a huge win. There’s rarely any neck and neck games.
Also if I’m the losing team sometimes it helps when people quit cause sometimes all of a sudden things get better. My shots feel like they connect and I’m getting more kills instead of assist.
I never quit because I’m down. Normally I quit to join a friend.
Last Night In ranked we had two players leave, It sucked. Full team vs me and a friend, think It was the most deaths I ever had. lol
No fix. You punish people who quit because they are not having fun just ticks them off more.
The game is supposed to be fun. However with what your saying, the simple answer to that is, no fix.
The only time i quit is when its lagging very badly. Especially in warzone…
Sometimes quitting is better for you and the team in slayer. If I’m just feeding points to the enemy then my team might be better off without me. I’m not too upset about people quitting anymore. Ranking is so messed up anyway that winning pretty much is decided by who gets the smurf on their team. I went against a Gold 2 player today that went 16-2 against other Golds and Silvers. How could I get upset if a team mate quit out of that match? It wasn’t fair to start with.

In game stats don’t really determine a smurf. The gamer score can tho. The dude could’ve just had a great game and you’re classifying him as a smurf.
It’s been a problem since multiplayer games were born. I strongly believe we need strict bans for all ranked playlists. I think CSGO is a great example of this. The bans are extremely strict, but no one ever quits. I also don’t see a need for bans in social playlists.

After looking at his account I think you are correct. Low SR but less than 1 k/d and inconsistent performance. So…apologies to he who shall not be named. You are not a smurf. I guess we all have exceptionally good games, especially when you can get camo and a railgun.
I only play for fun and don’t care about K/D ratio. I just am upset with people quitting.
It disappoints me when I see people leave because their team is losing. Honestly, the W/L ratio on Waypoint doesn’t show your skill at all, because you probably went 20-0 in most of those games but your teammates cost you the game.

Nope, can’t stop it. However, I’ll join you, so you have one less person to worry about. Hit me up.
There is no fix all you can do I just moan and move on.
