CTF 2-3 and the -Yoinks!- deliberately waited by their goal as the clock’s final 15 seconds counted down, watching as we feebly tried to rush for their base, and right when the clock had half a second left the enemy flag-carrier stepped into the goal; you could almost imagine a Halo-sized trollface being holographically projected over the battlefield.

I… I just can’t take it anymore. I have literally blown out my voice screaming obscenities and the like at my TV as we get completely rapestomped over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over v and over. My chest hurts, my entire body is drenched in sweat, my throat is raw and I can’t talk because I’m prettyy damn sure I’ve torn something in myu throat…
I’m done. I’m never touching Big Team Battle again. It’s just too much being-rapestomped-ness for me to physically handle.
That’s how Team Arena is for me, I constantly get anally destroyed facing against entire teams solo queuing who are higher ranks than me too. Matchmaking is garbage,

I get you OP, it can be a pain in the rear (Continuing Supermans joke here) but honestly, bad teams and horrible matches happen! It’s a part of it. I sure don’t say i am in favor of loosing but that’s Halo for ya these days.
If the btb match I’m in is definite loss, I start to just not care for the objective and get the power weapons on the map or the vehicles and just see what I can pull off kill wise, it’s much more fun than trying to get the coneback
BTB in Halo 5 its Garbage. 343i in Halo Reach, Halo Annyversary, Halo 4 and Halo MCC made beautiful maps and great game modes, but...Halo 5.....its lost.
I… actually mainly use BTB in order to get vehicle-destruction medals I haven’t completed yet (especially for the Mongoose and Warthog, plus the Wraith and Mantis each have a map they appear on (and kills of A.I. Wraiths in Firefight count toward commendations)… But no Phaetons in BTB yet? Seriously, 343i?), since there are no vehicles in Standard Arena and by the time I have enough REQ for guns that can destroy Warthogs or Mongooses in Warzone instantly (as in without only killing the people and not the vehicle, meaning I get a Kill but not an ‘X Destroyed’), nobody’s bringing those vehicles out anymore. But regardless of that, being curbstomped by, like, 15-100 is horrifying no matter if I get commendation progress or not.

Anyways, BTB is frustrating, but it’s an unranked playlist. If you want teammates that actually know what they are doing, your best bet is playing on a ranked playlist.
Warzone Assault is another good option for completing those commendations as well, if that’s what you’re after. You can req weapons to destroy the vehicles. I really wouldn’t worry about losses too much in unranked playlists. My win/loss ratio took a dive after completing all the commendations for WZFF.

I can assure you that people who do this know exactly what they’re doing and that’s the problem.

Which is why parties shouldn’t match with randoms in these big team playlists. If they aren’t clueless/scared for their lives, then they are knowingly farming/boosting for that “SICK ARMOR NAMED AFTER A GOD BRUH!!1!!11!!!one!!!”
Something needs to be done about the parties, or at the very least, punish teams that intentionally don’t try to go for the win, and instead boost/farm.
Decided to play normal Team Arena today… and experienced an equally horrendous chain of rapestomps!! On top of everything else, I’m gonna end up as Baby-Noob Bronze as my monthly ranking!
I’m just… gonna quit playing any Arena modes at all…
