New father here, she’s 2 months old.
I fully intend on playing this game until my controller breaks, but I also know that I just might have to afk/dc/quit because the baby wakes or needs my attention.
Really only plan on playing at night while she’s sleeping but I’m just wanting some reassurance that quitting for that reason won’t be punished. With me probably only playing at night my quits hopefully won’t be at a crazy rate but still.
If you are in a situation that will force you to stop playing repeatedly in the middle of games, you will recieve a time-out. The time of day will have no impact on your chances.
Use your head. If you think you will be stopped constantly, stay out of MM until the situation is under control. Don’t let others endure the inconvenience of fatherhood. I have personally quit out of several matches in my time, but I never got any time-outs because I kept them all spaced out.
Congrats on being a dad though. Just dont let it be a problem for the rest of us. Keep yourself out of MM if you think you may be interrupted alot to take care of your child. We may know the reason, but the system won’t since it goes by certain parameters. There is no human swinging the banhammer, but there is a cold-hearted machine.

Fair enough. About what I expected.
