I appreciate 343i’s temporary ban threats, but it doesn’t stop my teammates from leaving, putting me in a 1v4 in Arena.
I hate to leave games, but I am kind of forced to if I want to maintain some form of positive KD/KDA.
It just feels like MCC all over again in this area.
There should be some form of JIP for Arena.
Any thoughts?
If it was MCC all over again then you wouldn’t be playing with other people period.
Yes I agree that the % of quitters I am seeing either on my team or the others is really annoying. I never remember H3 having such a high rate of quitters but then I guess thats a hold different generation of players tbh.
No about the join in progress though as Arena is a ranked match so the 4v4 that start are the 4v4 that should end and get ranked on the W/L outcome. If you have JIP this could alter the outcome for better or worse and wouldnt really be fair IMO.
Again it does extremely suck though when you are either left on your own to fight 1v4 or your hunting round the map for 10mins looking for the last player on the enemy team.
The problem will sort itself out shortly.
Right now, your original Arena placing is determined by your performance in your first ten completed Arena games of each variety.
People more worried about their bracket than actually having fun thus have an incentive to flee out of losing games. It’s pretty pointless to do, because they’ll end up with an inflated rank they’ll quickly lose, but what can you do?
Yeah, the game is still new. More and more people will find out that quits = ban. If necessary, they can make it even more strict.
