The ban hammer needs to be heavier / quicker. Seems like every game I’m in, we have quitters. Either my side or their side. Then the game usually gets out of hand. Quitters are ruining matches or so it seems.
How do you know they arn’t getting banned after they quit?

They are. They keep coming on here complaining about it.
Some of them are lag outs too though. I’m starting to wonder if there actually is some way of booting a player from a match. I know in World of Warcraft rated battlegrounds there are a few guys being banned for forcing opposing team members out of the game so they can win.

Quitters are a problem, one can call them a sickness. One person for no reason can quit out causing their team to lose hope in the match, and providing incentive to quit. It really is a vicious cycle. But as ive noticed getting good can help, since most people stop quitting after plat 4 in my experience. And iwant to say sorry for i have quit recently. But when you go 2 -11 because of sword camo on overgrowth slayer THEN I DONT THINK IM HELPING THE TEAM! Sorry i hate that yoink.

What about when your 11-2 and the rest of your team is 2-18… I have a right to quit because my teams is garbage and because they have no talent or skill my rank shouldn’t be affected by it. Oh wait, but it does because 343 decided it was a good idea to base rank on other members of your team even though people went on a 10 month spree saying WE DON’T WANT THAT.
Quitters are just a symptom of a bigger problems. No casual game types for small teams and terrible maps that people simply don’t like. Overgrowth being a prime example. Removing the sword from that map would do a lot of good for the players quitting.

People still quit from BTB and the people need to grow up and learn how to fight against an energy sword
Quitters became such a problem I won’t even play a 4v4 playlist anymore. All I play is FFA and BTB.
Today i quitted 3 times. Lag, Lag and more lag. They need to fix the servers, because if i stay i wont be able to play, if i idle the game kicks me out… so i quit. There is no other way.
Am I the only person who really doesn’t care? I think everyone is missing the point. It is just a video game. If it isn’t “crying face I’ve been banned” threads it is “aneurysm people are quitting and ruining my life” threads…
Nobody complained in BF, COD, Gears or any other games from what I’ve seen over the years…

When you play with a team you have not worry about quitters but if you play without a full team you’ll eventually find quitters to be so annoying and ruin your experience.

I agree , I don’t have issues with sword or any maps. Will except for the horrible lighting in Recurve. But I don’t quit just because i don’t like the map.

Ban Hammer is not meant to stop quitters, it’s meant to punish them…
