Almost EVERY -Yoinking!- arena match today one or two people quit, costing me ranking. When is something going to be done about this, like matching ranking to INDIVIDUAL skill & not team? YOU CAN’T -Yoinking!- DEPEND ON ANYONE IN ARENA!
I know you’re frustration…I was undermanned in about 6 out of my 10 SWAT placement matches. And never fails about 30-40% of my matches each day someone quits unless I can actually get a full team together.

Seriously? It would take too much time and effort on part of 343i to solve this, don’t you realize they need to focus on the 20 or so people waiting for Halo Wars 2, and prep all of the new action figures for Lootcrate. Seriously man, grow up.
I’m a rage quiter in warzone. I’d rather not upset people over a lousy video game. But I don’t quit arena, I know people hate that because there is no jip.
Actually I’ve stopped playing Halo 5 all together because of it, I’ve never felt so much anger over something so stupid, it’s really not healthy.

Thx for making me smile. I needed that. Still ROYALLY miffed though, It’s been like this since I ranked up in TA a few days ago, I went from Silver six, down to TWO.
Just hide the whole match. Don’t give the enemy points and let the timer run down

You still lose ranking if you lose the match, but I’d rather see a full team at least put IN the effort & be outplayed, rather than be resigned to a loss due to lack of players in strongholds/CTF/Slayer. >.<

I know but if you know you are going to lose run the timer down don’t give them a quick win. Make me hunt you down get them bored or frustrated. A loss is better than a quit rank wise
Individual ranking doesnt work in a team game. Find a team or be content with Randoms- those are your only two options to be happy.

I think the thing I raged most about in any shooter is getting an obvious headshot with an LMG in CoD and not getting rewarded the kill (point black multiple hitmarkers with only their face in my reticle)
I do agree, after I get angry at a game I quit for a while. Being angry at something inanimate isn’t healthy. That being said I finish the match because I hate DNFs. (if nothing else, just on principle)

Honestly dnfs are worthless to me, they don’t discriminate in the slightest between disconnects and quits, thus you can never tell the difference and everyone is labeled as a dirty quiter with zero credibility.
Yah. Yesterday my friends and i were playing (and dominating) and half the enemy team would quit. I would then feel a pang of pity before I inevitably mopped the floor with their face.

True… but you can usually tell based on their performance in the DNF. someone with like 2 kills and 15 deaths. likely quit because they were getting trashed. Let me see if I can find my screenshot and ill show ya.

I’m in the same boat.Today I lost many games because we was outnumbered. Usually after the game i reported quitter’s and then they come here and start to complain - how worst is Bann system.

Because at the end of the day, a disconnect does the same thing as a quit. The person has disappeared and the team is one player down.
Also, even if the server can tell the difference between a disconnect and a quit, it cannot tell the difference between:
- You dropping from the server
- The server dropping you
- You pulling the Ethernet cord
- You going to the dashboard and quitting
- The Xbox being manually turned off/hard reset.

This complaint is in just about every competitive game (even other than Halo), game types etc. You’d think by now they’d have a decent match making system set up.
Also… I don’t see why you’re telling someone to grow up. – Maybe you should?

I know what you mean. Same stuff happens to me, people rage quitting or getting off during a match puts quite a dent in my ranking. It really ticks me off!
The only thing we can do is pray to the Halo gods that those quitters got banned and move on.
