Quitters are ruining MP for me

With the limited amount of friends I have who seem to play Halo 4 on the regular I usually don’t have a constant team to play with resulting in my having to join and play with randoms. This is where the problems begin. For some reason people just refuse to stick through a game. It wouldn’t be so bad if we didn’t have CSR in playlists now. I’m tired of getting the short end of the stick because people quit because they are having a “bad game”. It just completely screws over the rest of your teammates especially if you’re playing objective based games. Hell today I was playing doubles trying to get my CSR up and for some reason they put me on the team with the same guy twice and he quit BOTH games. The first game he quit while we were AHEAD and the second game didn’t even start before he left. Needless to say I ended up losing the both games because for some reason I can get put into BTB games where the team I am on is down 16 kills but you can’t find me ONE player out of the 1200+ that’s playing doubles. About that 343i. I thought there was suppose to be like a RQ hell built into this game. I guess with the player base being so small we’re just stuck with the same RQ’ing players. Is anyone else having the problem with teammates who routinely quit?

no team game is worth playing without a team unfortunately.

if we’re short. we like to poach a player off the opposing team who did well and preferably from the UK. slowly but surely you’ll be able to come into match making and have a player base for a team.

you’ll make friends this way

I agree. In almost every match I play, either one or two of my teammates will quit or one or two players on my opponents team will quit. It just completely ruins the pace of the game everytime I have to go through looking at a black screen 1-3 times a game because someone quit.

343 should just remove the option to quit a game when you press the start button. People would be less inclined to leave a game when their only way of leaving would be to go to the dashboard.

Quitting ruined MP for me since Halo 2

LOL - I have quit out of more games than you have played…you don’t play much anyways.

Man, I feel for you. My friends don’t play H4 so I usually have to go random in team games and sometimes it works and my team plays well and sometimes I’m up against a true team and my teammates are not using mics and running around without any true strat.

Well op, I get dodged on a regular basis when playing Throwdown or Doubles. This can lead to frustration from my teammates and myself. IMO, they should remove the ability to leave once you have found players.

Also op, it is really hard to win in competitive matches without friends. Rarely do you play a game and your random teammates excel! Best thing you can do for right now if find some more friends to play with. You’ll avoid a lot of frustration that way.

Sorry but if i get thrown into a CTF game that is 0 to 3 i refuses to play that game since there in no way we will win.

all they need ot do to fix matchmaking is stop have player get throwed into unwinable games.

thats what i truly ruining match making

I love it when the winning CTF team loses a player. That means we are making a comeback. Might not win, but we are going to run them ragged trying.

I want them to fix the 6v2 Objective/Dominion/Castle games that are messed up before the voting is even finished. Reshuffle and go 4v4 or kick back to the lobby and try again.

Was Halo 3 for me… (H2 was still a college LAN thing for me).

Unfortunately it’s never going away, though JIP has made a decent start at addressing this. Still some tweaks to be made, but I think overall it’s a good thing for the game.

It could be spectacular if future Halo games paired parties with parties and single accounts with single accounts. A team of 8 vs scattered individuals isn’t very balanced the majority of the time.
