So as we all know quitters are a big issue right, and in my opinion the penalties aren’t harsh enough to dissuade players from quitting the moment they start losing. But it is really bad when I get placed on the attacking team in a warzone assault game that is already at the 1 minute left mark and the defenders are pushing and camping every single spawn point. The first thing I saw when I loaded up the game was reds all over the loading dock on the snow map and I couldn’t even move two feet from my first spawn before I was killed by 3 or 4 BRs. I looked at the attacking team just before I left myself and the team was missing five players. That’s almost half the team.
Something needs to be done to reduce the number of quitters and provide better JIP. Players should not be put into a game where one team is on the way to a landslide victory, because its unfair to a joining player that they take the hit to their k/d and win ratio because somebody didn’t have the balls to take a defeat and quit early.
And before anyone calls me a hypocrite for quitting, if I start a match or have a chance to play most of it I will follow it through to the end regardless of a win or a loss. However if I ever get dropped in a game like what I said above I’m not going to take the hit for someone else. I’d rather have a temporary ban than take a loss because somebody quit a game at the very end that was a guaranteed loss.
