I reckon That Quiters Should Get Banned Stright Away Or After they 2nd quit Because I Am Really Gett P***** Off With It =|
And for those who lag out of games on the one off?
Quitters are highly frustrating, And spoil the game for everyone involved.
It will be interesting to see what steps 343i take on this matter in Halo 4.

i lag out of games all the times don’t think this should be implemented,i think though if your host and u have a lag spike you should be able to rejoin the game by waiting the lag spike out or something,i mean when I’m not host ill rejoin anyway :S
Well They Should Make As Your Quit By Pressing The Quit Button Bum!!! Banned For SomeTime It Should Set It To The Quiit Button Then If You Lag Out Or Turn Of Your XBOX It Should Count As A Loss But Not And 10min Banned Plus 10Mins Aint Nothing That Should Put It As If You Quit So Many Times Iin A Week You Should Get A Day Or 2 Day Banned When The Weeks Over

Please don’t capitalize every letter, its painful for the eyes.
On-topic: the game can’t tell the difference between someone pressing quit or turning their xbox off, or lagging out, that’s why many prefer it this way.
it is indeed annoying how some of them noobs just quit a game they don’t want to play,
but look at it in the innocent player’s side:
-some poeple lag out of the game;
it’s not their fault that their connection is crappy (sometimes it is, but that’s not the point)so banning them for having bad connection would just make Halo less liked
-people have lives too you know;
some people need to leave in the middle of a game to get on with their lives,
343 shouldn’t force them through a 10-minute game in order for them to play proprely in the future
-kids with their lives;
us kids and teens have more going on that adults sometimes, we have school to deal with, and we have Parents, and most parents don’t have the patience to sit thought 10 minutes while their kid plays.
i hate nub quitters as much as anyone else does, but unless 343 can find a good way to get noobs, but let the innocents go unpunished, it’s gonna have to stay this way…for now

Someone with brains. I see so many people yelling about why the banhammer doesn’t come down on quitters without thinking about the points you put out there.
Sometimes when I’m gaming I don’t have a choice, I have to get up and leave, whether it be to answer the phone, someone at the door, or someone wants to watch tv. They’re not keen on waiting 20 minutes for a game to end just so I don’t get a Quit Early player review. How can you tell the difference between someone pressing the quit button, and someone who ‘leaves’ because the power goes out? It’s a trick question so stop complaining because nothing’s going to be done about those who quit!
I have a gf and a job among other things. Are you telling me to force my gf to wait 10 to 20 mins just so I can finish one game? I maybe a adult but I still have to listen to my parents while I am under their room for the moment are you telling me I should be punished cause they ask me to go to the store for them considering they are nice enough to let me live here without rent. Some of us have things to do we have lives. You would rather see us all punished for a select few?
People do lag out of games, cant punish everyone with a instant ban just because there might be a storm in there area or because they have a average isp.
players wouldn’t quit if the maps and gametypes weren’t so bad. I know I wouldn’t quit all the time in BTB if hemorrhage was picked a lot less. I refuse to play such a terrible map.
Aint most maps from Forgeworld just bad? for e.g you cant play LD without having Uncaged picked 2 out of the 3 times u play

I will admit that the policy and ban hammer on quitters needs to be stronger/better, but to say that anyone who quits Ever should be Banned straight away…That I don’t believe should be used…UNLESS They should figure out a way for the ban hammer to discover if the person is intentionally leaving/lagging out or if they are truly having connection issues.
Such as: Someone quits to either play another game, or the intentionally lag the game in attempt to cheat: Ban
Someone is having connection issues and they lag out due to it: No Ban.
@Mystical Gaming@ You shouldn’t leave you team high and dry just because you don’t like a map/game variant. If you are Forced to play on a map/variant that you Suck at you should try to make the best of it. If that’s “shotty snipers” and you suck with the sniper…well use the shot gun and HIDE!

Not possible for many reasons that I honestly can’t be bothered elaborating on.
I think the mismatching of players is one of the main reasons people quit out. Most of my online buddies play Reach all the time and have reached the rank of Nova or above. When going into a lobby together we get matched against low ranks and they just take one look at all the octaganal onyx ranks on the other team in a party of 8 with mics and quit out in the game lobby or not long after the game starts.
So to fix this, we as players, need to maybe select “skill level as well as good connection” in the search options and 343 need to start matching large parties with large parties.
I am sorry but I dont think banning people is the answer they will just play something else anyway and reduce Reach’s population further.

That still has an effect on other players games. Fix your internet or upgrade.
It’s abundantly obvious that punishments for quitting won’t stop people from quitting.
People quit when they’re not having fun in a video game that is supposed to be fun. So how about this: instead of punishing people for quitting – something that we already know does not work – why don’t we get rid of the reasons people quit?
If you get matched up with people of disproportionately higher skill, and get destroyed the entire match, that isn’t fun. Solution? Use skill matching, so that people don’t quit because of uneven teams.
If the maps and gametypes are awful, people quit. Solution? Apply stricter standards to content being submitted to the Community Cartographers or any similar system.
If the playlist is full of griefers, people quit. Solution? Prevent griefing on a case-by-case basis. A working betrayal booting algorithm would be a great start.
And so on and so forth. If people quit, it’s because in that particular moment, for those people, the game fails. The solution isn’t to make the game out-fail itself. The solution is to make the game stop failing entirely.

And if you cannot Afford to Upgrade? You should be punished because you can’t afford a higher speed? Yeah that’s not discrimination at all.

Yet in the several Decades ago it was said that we would Never Fly. Look at us now. It may not be possible, currently, but who knows down the line.

Hey how about this. You pay all my bills for me. Oh wait you seem to think everyone is rich like you. Or has their parents paying for their internet not all of us have our parents to pay for our stuff if that is the case with you. Either way unless you got the money to pay our bills there isn’t much we can do about connection speeds so get over that one.
