dear 343 I have been banned before for a week because I quit two matches so stop the banning about quiting . now lets say youhave to eat supper but your stuck in a match and you quit it.now this makes me mad you get banned it is stupid, you do good in a match BANNED you acitendtlley kill your friend banned . please 343 make being banned something serious like hacking or modded matches but this needs to end NOW.

Or you could stop quitting so much… the ban hammer isn’t so strict where if you quit one match here and there you get banned. If you have a really long ban you way earned it. If you know you have to leave or do something DONT START A GAME!
Well you have 6 DNFs just in the arena playlist in two days… That’s a lot… 3 of them are back to back… Don’t play any games around supper time… easy fix!
It doesn’t matter what the reason is, you are leaving three people in a unfair situation and most of the time guaranteeing them a loss.
It’s not nice to waste your time and knowing you’re gonna lose just because someone left.

I don’t blame you bud I saw the 343 help messenger er to get unbanned and the won’t help either even if forum banned or game banned. Saw well over 100+ wrongful bans with no repercussions or help, most people have left the game due to these issues I can hardly find an active team in halo so I hear you man. Sorry to hear man best thing to do is just wait they don’t be able to help
Wow firstly ban thread. Secondly if you get banned for a week because of quitting or betrayals you earned that. How often do accidental betrayals happen? Not enough to get banned, you probably are one of those guys that likes to betray your teammates because you didn’t get the sniper or rockets or if you die more than 3 times in a row you quit.
Mate you left those people to suffer, you had that choice. Its not 343 industries fault that you willingly quit games, and you could have waited to finish the match before eating. That’s the real issue here not the severity of your ban.

The odd quit or router crash is far enough. However persistent quitters ie yourself judging by your recent history deserve everything you get. For a ban to be as big as a week, your not an occasional quitter. It’s bang out of order quitting leaving the rest of your team mates up sh#t creek without a paddle!!

I cant beleive all these people are serious. You need to have supper and dont have enough time for a match? Dont start one then your ruining other peoples games. This is obvious im glad your getting banned for quitting i just hope 343 doesn’t see the mass of people who complain about banning and change it.

This… this is what quitters want… they want to be able to play like yoinks and be able to quit out when ever things don’t go their way and not be penalized.
I agree with OP kind of. I hate when people quit but i quit when teammates quit games. There is no point in staying in a 3v4 or 2v4.

Let’s be honest that is a dump thread, a filter for posts people got tired of seeing.
I feel like the banhammer might actually be working if quitters are truly annoyed by the ban lengths. Kudos to 343. Quitters should be publicly shamed in addition to getting lengthy bans. Quitters ruin the game and always have the lamest excuses for why they don’t finish games.

MAKE QUITTERS PLAY IN A QUITTERS ONLY GAME. Multiple games have this feature in team games. If someone continues to quit. Make them play a game or 2 with other quitters. The load times are usually longer because it’s finding OTHER quitters which can be punishment enough.
The ban is beyond pointless. So you’re telling me when my team mate leaves or if the game STARTS out 3v4, I should have to sit and waste 10-15 minutes? Wait, I can’t quit the game because I’ll get banned. Terrible. I’m already getting punished with a 3v4 and knowing the quitter is getting “banned” doesn’t make me feel any better. The quitter could care less if he/she gets banned…that’s WHY they quit. But why should I have to get stomped in a 3v4 2v4, get all bummed out, TILTED.
Some people rage quit.
Make them play with other rage quitters.
