Before someone replies to this thread and rants about the lack of content in Halo 5, please finish reading what I have to say.
We can all agree that Big Team Battle, Infection, and Griffball all should’ve been in Halo 5 at launch. Thankfully BTB is here, but we’re are still missing the other two. Yeah, it’s disappointing and yes, it’s ruining the image of both 343 and Halo 5. But I think we should move on and look forward to the content coming soon.
343 has mentioned that both Griffball and Infection are on their way. Whether these gametypes will arrive this month or a few months from now, no one knows. But they are confirmed to return, so that’s nice to hear.
If for whatever reason people are upset with the REQ content in Halo 5, it is obvious that more of them are coming down the road later on. Each month Halo 5 gets new armor, weapons, emblems and other requisitions, so I don’t think that will be a problem.
Anyway, on to my point. I think it’s best that we wait until 343 has a chance to deliver these game modes before bashing them. In no way am I saying that they don’t deserve at least a little bit of the blame, but that we should give them a second chance to make Halo 5 right. Pumping out tons of negative hate at them will only make matters worse. We are what make up Halo, let’s act civilized and look forward to what will be added to the game in the upcoming months.
Ur second to last sentence should be the motto of halo waypoint, so people would actually just have fun playing the game.
Quit complaining about complaining winks
It’s nice to see optimism, but not everyone sees the business model like you do.

They already did deliver these game modes, at launch, in Halo 4. It’s not like this is their first kick at the can, they’ve done this before and have done significantly worse this time around.

If 343 can’t handle legitimate negative criticism, then they are a terrible studio and should probably get out of the industry because this is par for the course.
I couldn’t agree with OP more, Halo 5 is a great game and being negative isn’t going to help anyone, there are very little faults that I have seen, and most of them have been adressed thoroughly enough by the community.

I couldn’t agree more.
Yeah! Who knew that 3 years would not be enough to release a game that lives up to its predecessors!
It’s not like those games only had 3 years of development time also?!

I wish people would quit complaining about complaining. It’s not helpful.
